The Acer Aspire 3 14 is a budget-friendly laptop that is less expensive and offers decent performance for general use with its AMD Ryzen processor, moderate RAM, and good battery life; it has a 14-inch screen which makes it more portable and it operates silently without a fan. Conversely, the Acer Aspire Vero 15, though more costly, provides enhanced performance with a more powerful Intel i7 processor and double the RAM, suitable for more intensive tasks like engineering software; it also has a larger 15.6-inch screen, potentially better for multitasking and productivity but is heavier, affecting portability. The Acer Aspire 3 14 and the Acer Aspire Vero 15 have similar screen quality.
The Acer Aspire 3 14 and Aspire Vero 15 laptops offer screens that might have satisfactory resolution and brightness for tasks like browsing and document editing, which is why they are suitable for general use. However, their displays may not cover a wide range of color spaces, such as DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, which can be crucial for accurate color representation in engineering and design work, making them less ideal for professionals in those fields. Furthermore, for immersive and responsive experiences in gaming and 3D applications, high refresh rates are essential, and these models likely fall short, offering a less fluid visual experience for those specific activities.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers Acer Aspire Vero 15 to be only fair for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 3 14 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 3 14 has a modest AMD Radeon 610M GPU and a 60Hz screen refresh rate, which provide fair gaming performance; however, its less powerful graphics might not handle demanding 3D tasks very well. Meanwhile, the Acer Aspire Vero 15, with a stronger Intel Iris Xe GPU and the same screen refresh rate, offers improved gaming and 3D capabilities, but both may still struggle with very high-end games or complex 3D rendering due to their shared screen refresh rate and fair CPU performance.

How the Acer Aspire 3 14 and the Acer Aspire Vero 15 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
