The Sony A95K offers excellent overall picture quality and is often slightly less expensive than the A95L. It's a strong choice for gaming, sports, and watching movies. However, it doesn't perform as well in bright rooms, where the A95L has a slight edge. The Sony A95L, being a newer model, slightly improves upon the A95K in almost all aspects, including overall picture quality, gaming performance, and handling of bright room conditions. It might cost just a bit more, but it offers a 144Hz screen for smoother motion, which can be particularly appealing for gaming and fast action content. Both TVs are OLEDs with great sound, support for the latest HDR formats, and low input lag for gaming, but the A95L might be the better choice if you need the absolute best performance and don't mind spending a little more. Caleb Denison | March 2022
"A95K will be one of the highest-performing TVs of the year, if not the hottest TV of 2022. The color on the Sony A95K is the most accurate I have ever seen. Certain hues of red just haven’t been produced on a TV … until now. Perhaps with deeper scrutiny, I may one day find some nit to pick, but in the time I was able to spend with the A95K, I was simply thrilled."
