The Earfun Air Pro 2 earbuds offer good overall sound quality, including soundstage and imaging, and are quite comfortable to wear. They're wireless with active noise cancelling, making them suitable for use during exercise and air travel. They are a lower midrange priced option, include features for good portability, and support AAC codec which is optimal for Apple devices but they do not support a lossless codec. However, their suitability for gaming and TV is poor due to latency issues. If you need earbuds for casual listening, especially in noisy environments or while being active, these could be a suitable choice, but they won't be ideal for gaming or watching videos. They have a battery life of 6 hours which can be extended to 24 hours with the included charging case, and they also support wireless charging. The build quality is very good, but the microphone quality is just fair, so call quality may be average. They are sweatproof but not dustproof. Give Feedback

Ratings by Category

Air Travel:
4.5
This score evaluates the product for use on airplanes and other similar kinds of travel. It takes into account noise reduction and portability, including case shape, case size, and weight. It also incorporates the battery life of the product, long-haul comfort, noise reduction (both active and passive), and sound quality. We generally consider wireless products to be more suitable for air travel.
Battery Life:
4.3
The Battery Life rating is based on hours of typical, actual usage.
Podcasts & Audiobooks:
3.9
This score evaluates the product when used solely to listen to podcasts or audiobooks. It takes into account sound quality and sound signature, to be able to keep voices clear and intelligible. It also considers battery life, when available, and comfort.
Exercise:
3.6
This score evaluates the product when used for exercise and physical activity. It mainly takes into account comfort, whether or not the products are sweatproof and how secure are the earbuds or headphones while wearing them. We also consider products with wireless capabilities to be more suitable for this particular scenario
Music:
3.4
The Earfun Air Pro 2 earbuds have a closed-back design which limits the breadth of soundstage, making the music listening experience less spacious, and the overall sound quality is noted as good but not exceptional, meaning they provide decent audio reproduction but may not satisfy audiophiles looking for more refined sound detail.
Calls:
3.1
This evaluates the product when used solely to make and receive calls. It takes into account how well the products are able to clearly reproduce the human voice, the quality of the integrated microphones and the battery life, when available, to be able to use them for longer sessions or conferences.
Portability:
3.0
The Portability score is based on an overall assessment that includes volume and maximum dimension of the product (and case, if relevant), and its weight. Special features like foldability for headphones are also taken into account.

Headphone Addict

Peter Susic | September 2021
"There’s a lot to like about EarFun Air Pro 2. The best thing about them is the active noise cancellation, which works almost as well as the best true wireless earbuds out there. The audio quality is funky but enjoyable. Good dynamics and a wider soundstage save its presentation. Everyone, apart from the most diehard audiophiles, should be happy with it."
