The Turtle Beach Recon 70 is a budget-friendly, wired over-ear headphone with a closed-back design, providing good ambient noise isolation with no active noise cancellation. Designed to offer very good overall sound and build quality, these headphones also excel in mic quality, making them suitable for calls and gaming. They're comfortable and lightweight but not recommended for exercise due to their larger size and non-sweatproof design. They offer virtual surround sound via their boom microphone, which enhances the gaming experience. However, limited sound customization options mean they may not be ideal for those looking for app-based EQ settings. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Sam Moore | September 2022
"There aren’t many considerations to make here. The Turtle Beach Recon 70 sounds decent, offers solid chat audio, feels good to wear over long periods, and it works everywhere. If you’re in the market for a simple plug-and-play option, you could do a whole lot worse (and spend a whole lot more money). Regardless, if getting something cheap that works well is the only thing you care about, this is a great option."
