The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is a budget-friendly 2-in-1 convertible laptop that allows for use as both a laptop and a tablet. It comes with an Intel i3 processor and Intel UHD Graphics Xe, 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM, which makes it suitable for general use like web browsing, document editing, and media consumption. It has a 14-inch IPS touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 1920 x 1200 resolution. Though not designed for intensive gaming or engineering tasks, its silent, fanless operation and lightweight design make it very portable with a decent battery life, ideal for everyday on-the-go use. It runs Windows 11S, boasts a backlit keyboard and USB-C charging, but lacks features like a dedicated number pad, fingerprint reader, and facial recognition. If you're looking for a device that can handle light computing tasks and value flexibility and portability, this might be a good choice. However, if your needs include high performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, or extensive gaming, you might want to consider laptops with more powerful processors and GPUs. Give Feedback

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
