The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good choice if you're looking for a laptop with a lower midrange price, offering decent value for everyday tasks like browsing, working with office applications, and media consumption. It has ample storage space and a solid main processor for general use. The battery life is average, suitable for short periods away from a power outlet. Its weight is moderate, making it somewhat portable, though there are lighter options available. The full-sized keyboard with a number pad and backlit keys enhances productivity in different lighting conditions. However, for more demanding tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or intensive gaming, it may not be the best fit due to its integrated GPU and performance limitations. The overall build is fair, but it may not be as premium or durable as higher-end models. If you need a laptop primarily for more robust activities like engineering applications or high-end gaming, you might want to consider other options with stronger dedicated graphics and processing capabilities. NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | November 2022
"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."
