The Acer Aspire Vero 15, priced on the lower midrange, offers a solid balance for general use with an Intel i7 processor and integrated Iris Xe graphics. It has 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB storage capacity, suitable for multitasking and ample space for documents and media. Its 15.6-inch screen with IPS display at 1920 x 1080 resolution provides clear visuals but isn’t suitable for intensive gaming. With around 7 hours of battery life, it's decent for on-the-go use, though there are lighter options if portability is a top priority at a weight of almost 4 pounds. It's environmentally conscious with some recyclable materials but may not fit the bill for heavy engineering tasks or gaming. The Vero 15 runs Windows 11 Home, has a good keyboard, a satisfactory port selection including USB-C, and is updated with modern connectivity options. Give Feedback

PerfectRec’s Software Development Score takes into account the many different features of the laptop that make it more or less suitable for software development. PCWorld

Matt Elliott | October 2021
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
