The Dell Inspiron 14 7435 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop, meaning it functions as both a laptop and a tablet, suitable for versatile use in various environments. It comes at a lower midrange price, offering respectable performance with its AMD Ryzen 7 processor and integrated Vega 8 graphics. This makes it capable for general use and some engineering applications, but not optimized for intensive gaming or high-end 3D and machine learning tasks. The device has a 14-inch IPS touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a solid battery life, making it a good choice for productivity and media consumption. It's quite portable and features a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, and multiple USB-C ports, but lacks dedicated Ethernet and Thunderbolt ports. It has a decent amount of storage and RAM, and its build quality and heat management are good, considering its price point. If you're looking for a versatile laptop for everyday tasks and light engineering work without breaking the bank, this could be a suitable option. Give Feedback

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | August 2023
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
