The Gigabyte G5 is a gaming laptop with a solid graphics card, the Nvidia RTX 3060, which is also capable of hardware ray tracing and DLSS, enhancing gaming and certain graphics-intensive tasks. It's equipped with an Intel i5 processor and 16GB of RAM, which should offer good performance for general use and some engineering applications. This laptop has a 15.6-inch IPS display which does not support touch but has a high refresh rate suitable for smooth motion in games and videos. The device offers a variety of ports including Ethernet and multiple USB-C. At almost 5 pounds and having moderate battery life, it's less portable compared to ultrabooks but might be acceptable for short moves or infrequent travel. It has a backlit keyboard with a number pad and comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. It's positioned at a lower midrange price, suggesting it's reasonably affordable while delivering good, but not top-of-the-line, performance for gaming and multipurpose use. Give Feedback

Vaidyanathan Subramaniam | April 2023
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
