The HP Stream 14" is a budget-friendly option designed for general use, featuring an Intel Celeron N4120 processor and Intel UHD Graphics 600, suitable for basic tasks but not for intensive 3D rendering, machine learning, or engineering work. It has a 14-inch TN display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, which delivers a fair image quality but the screen may not be as vibrant or sharp compared to more advanced displays. The laptop includes 16 GB of RAM and a 320 GB storage capacity, which are moderate specifications for everyday tasks and light multitasking. It is lightweight at 3.5 pounds, enhancing its portability, and offers a decent battery life for typical usage. The keyboard is rated as very good and it comes with a good webcam and speakers. Although it has USB-C ports, it lacks more advanced connectivity options like Thunderbolt ports. Overall, the HP Stream 14" is a simple, portable laptop well-suited for basic use such as web browsing, document editing, and light multimedia consumption, but not for demanding software or gaming. PCMag

Zachary Cuevas | November 2021
"With half of the main system memory and a fraction of the storage that we recommend in any budget Windows laptop, the HP Stream 14 does not impress. Perhaps it doesn't need to, depending on your reference point. For the price, you're getting a functional laptop with Windows 10, which already places the HP Stream 14 above most Chromebooks on that merit alone. Still, in this price range, you can't do much worse, but you can do better. In fact, for just $100 more, you can grab the much superior budget option, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14."
