The MSI GP66 Leopard is a midrange-priced laptop equipped with powerful hardware, including an Intel i7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics, making it well-suited for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks. Its 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage can handle multitasking and ample data. It has a 15.6-inch IPS display with a high refresh rate, although it does not support touchscreen functionality. Due to its performance-oriented build, it has a shorter battery life and is heavier, compromising portability. Its keyboard is backlit without a number pad, has good heat management, but it tends to have notable fan noise. It also includes Ethernet but lacks USB-C charging and Thunderbolt ports. With a sturdy build quality and hardware ray tracing support, it's a robust choice for users needing performance over sleekness and portability. Give Feedback

Christian Hintze | December 2021
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
