The MSI Thin GF63 is a laptop priced in the lower midrange that comes with a solid Intel i7 processor and an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, making it a good fit for general use and capable of handling 3D rendering and machine learning tasks reasonably well. It offers 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM, which should be sufficient for most users. The 15.6-inch IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD resolution does not support touch but should provide a smooth visual experience for gaming and general use. The battery life is on the lower side, which could impact its portability, despite it being relatively lightweight at 4.1 pounds. It also comes with a backlit keyboard but lacks features such as facial recognition and USB-C charging, though it does include a USB-C port and an HDMI output for external displays. Released in May 2023 and running on Windows 11 Home, it seems well-suited for general use and gaming, but the shorter battery life and fair ratings in build quality might be drawbacks for some users. Tom's Hardware

Charles Jeffries | November 2022
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
