4.5
PerfectRec’s Operating Noise Score is based on fan noise measurements. Laptops with a fanless design, such as Macbooks, receive the maximum score.
General Use:
4.3
The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is good for general use due to its capable Intel i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM, which provide strong performance for everyday tasks and multitasking. Its high-resolution, color-accurate IPS screen, paired with its portability, defined by a light weight and a battery that supports typical usage for several hours, makes it a versatile option for both work and entertainment on the go.

4.3
PerfectRec’s Software Development Score takes into account the many different features of the laptop that make it more or less suitable for software development. In addition to a strong emphasis on overall performance, this score also places very high importance on screen quality. 4.2
The Keyboard Quality score is based on the PerfectRec experts’ assessment of tactile feedback, typing comfort, keyboard reliability and typing noise.
Gaming & AI:
3.5
The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s has an integrated Intel GPU, which is less capable than a dedicated graphics card for handling the high demands of gaming and 3D applications. Furthermore, its screen refresh rate is standard at 60Hz, limiting the smoothness of graphics during high-speed gaming or 3D rendering compared to higher refresh rate displays.

The Verge

Monica Chin | July 2021
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
