The Samsung Galaxy Note20, with its upper midrange price, offers a good blend of features and performance. It was released in 2020 and houses a plastic body with a 4300 mAh battery, promising a solid battery life. The 6.7-inch OLED screen doesn't have a curved edge but provides good screen quality, although it's limited to a 60Hz refresh rate. Photography enthusiasts might find the camera quality to be fair across still photos and videos, and it includes a 12MP main camera alongside a 64MP telephoto. This phone does support 5G connectivity and comes with Samsung's signature integrated stylus for added productivity but lacks a headphone jack. If you need a quality phone with a stylus for work and casual photography at a reasonable price, this could be a good choice. Give Feedback

4.1
The Performance rating is based on GeekBench performance benchmark scores, combined with PerfectRec’s assessment of real-life typical use cases.
Overall Camera:
3.6
The Overall Camera rating is based on a combination of the comprehensive Photos and Videos ratings, with photo quality weighted 80% and video quality weighted 20%.
Photos:
3.4
The Samsung Galaxy Note20 takes fair photos partly because the selfie camera has a fair performance, which means it might not capture the best self-portraits, particularly under varying conditions. Additionally, the overall photos software experience is rated as good, indicating that there may be limitations in how the camera software processes images, affecting photo quality.
Videos:
3.0
The Samsung Galaxy Note20's average video capabilities are due to its fair video software experience and its limitations in low-light performance, affecting video quality in darker settings. Additionally, the stabilization and dynamic range of videos are also considered fair, contributing to an overall satisfactory but not exceptional video capturing performance.

Pocket-lint

Mike Lowe | October 2020
"We think pretty much anyone picking up the Note 20 to take photos will be very happy with the sharpness and appearance of the shots. If you're looking for a phone with an integrated stylus then there's little better than the note-taking potential of this phone. Sure, its 'glasstic' rear and lack of higher refrsh-rate screen are little red marks against its specification, but you can buy the step-up Ultra model if you see that as a problem - although we prefer the smaller price and smaller camera lump of this 'entry' Note model."
