If you're looking for detailed and high-fidelity sound, especially for music, the 7hz Timeless might be worth the investment due to their planar magnetic drivers which usually offer superior sound quality. However, if you're on a budget and need a versatile headset with a microphone for gaming and casual use, the Razer Kraken is a reliable choice. The Kraken also offers a built-in microphone which the Timeless lacks, making it more suitable for interactive activities like gaming or video calls. Keep in mind, though, that the build and sound quality of the 7hz Timeless are generally higher, reflecting its price point. Give Feedback

Kazi Mahbub Mutakabbir | May 2023
"7Hz picked a bold name for the Timeless and frankly, got very close to justifying their word choice. Most importantly, the Timeless are good to go in stock form, so you don’t have to worry about source-matching and such. I can recommend the 7Hz Timeless to those who do not mind a dash of brightness up top, want a taste of planar in IEM form, and want one of the most resolving pair of earphones in the $150 - $300 price range."

PC Gamer

Rob Dwiar | March 2019
"Generally the Kraken is a very comfortable headset and there’s nothing that really identifies it as anything else. All in, the Kraken performed exactly as I’d expect a premium, designated gaming headset to perform: performing well in game audio, though not quite with the same quality of those headsets further up the price scale."
