The Acer Aspire 5 15 offers better graphics performance, given its Intel i5 processor with Iris Xe graphics, which would be beneficial for tasks like video editing or casual gaming. In contrast, the Lenovo V15, powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 with Vega 7 graphics, may not perform as well in graphics-intensive scenarios but could offer better performance for general computing tasks. If longer battery life is a priority, the Lenovo V15 may be a better choice as it tends to have a slightly longer-lasting battery. The Acer features a better screen quality with an IPS display, while the Lenovo has a TN display, which often has poorer viewing angles and color reproduction. If carrying the laptop frequently is a consideration, the Lenovo is lighter and may be a more convenient option. Ultimately, the Acer may be worth considering for its superior visual experience and graphics performance, while the Lenovo could be a better fit for those needing a lighter device with longer battery life and satisfactory performance for everyday tasks. NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | November 2022
"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."

NotebookCheck

Marvin Gollor | April 2022
"The strengths of the Lenovo V15 G2 AMD lie in its expandability of the RAM and allowing you to use two SSDs, in its performance that goes beyond everyday applications thanks to AMD's hexa-core CPU and Vega-7 iGPU, in its good keyboard, and its relatively robust case. In addition, the battery life of the office laptop is also acceptable, and the device stays cool and relatively quiet."
