If you prioritize portability and a touchscreen for versatile use, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13, with its smaller size and lighter weight, is a solid choice. Conversely, if battery life and a larger screen are more important for long sessions or you need more initial storage, the ASUS ROG Strix G16 stands out. Both laptops are suitable for intensive tasks like gaming or engineering software, but the ROG Strix G16 might have the edge in extended performance with a stronger battery. Keep in mind that despite being somewhat more expensive, the ROG Flow Z13 offers a higher resolution and increased portability. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | March 2022
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."

NotebookCheck

Marc Herter | March 2023
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
