If you prioritize a more premium feel with glass construction and better overall camera performance, the iPhone 12 would suit you better, although it’s more costly. It has an OLED display which generally offers deeper blacks and more vibrant colors compared to the LCD screen on the Galaxy A14, but the latter phone has a slightly larger screen and a higher refresh rate which may make for smoother scrolling. The Galaxy A14 also has a plastic back which may not feel as luxurious. However, it provides a longer battery life and is significantly less expensive. It's also worth considering the operating systems; iPhone 12 runs on iOS while the Galaxy A14 uses Android, which could affect your app choices and user experience. Give Feedback

Pocket-lint

Stuart Miles | March 2022
"The iPhone 12 offers many of the important things that you want from the iPhone: a decent camera, 5G, great screen, fast processor. For the group of people who want a new iPhone without the price tag of the iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 13 range, this is a great choice. There's no settling for second best with this smartphone."

WIRED

Julian Chokkattu | January 2023
"It's near-impossible to not marvel at the value of the Galaxy A14. It does almost everything so well for so little, and that's precisely what we should be asking more of from our gadgets. Good performance. Nice screen. Two-day battery life. Solid camera. Includes 64 GB of storage and a microSD card slot, plus a headphone jack and NFC for contactless payments."
