Choosing between the Apple iPhone 13 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S23 comes down to the following tradeoffs: The iPhone 13 Pro, while more expensive, offers a slightly better camera for still photos and videos than the Galaxy S23. Both have high-quality OLED displays with similar screen sizes and high refresh rates, but the iPhone 13 Pro does not have an Always On Display feature like the Galaxy S23 does. The Galaxy S23 shines with its slightly higher brightness capability and comes with a more recent processor which might offer better long-term performance. They both have no headphone jack, similar battery life, and glass backs, but they run on different operating systems with the iPhone on iOS and the Galaxy S23 on Android, which could impact your choice based on your preference for app ecosystems and user interfaces. Additionally, the Galaxy S23 offers more modern connectivity options such as WiFi 6e and Bluetooth 5.3. If camera performance is a top priority and you are already integrated into the Apple ecosystem, the iPhone 13 Pro could be worth the extra cost. However, if you are looking for a phone that provides newer hardware features at a lower price point, the Galaxy S23 is a solid choice. Give Feedback

Android Authority

Dhruv Bhutani | October 2021
"The basic foundation of the phone is rock solid and essentials like UI navigation, apps, security, and privacy features are polished to a sheen. The camera works consistently well and takes some of the best pictures you can get out of a phone. The phone further embellishes it with performance that won’t have you reaching for a replacement for years, and the battery life is hands-down amongst the best you can get on a flagship. If you’ve been eyeing an iPhone, the iPhone 13 Pro is as good as it gets."

The Verge

Allison Johnson | February 2023
"The 6.1-inch S23 is the best reasonably sized Android phone on the market in the US, partly because almost every other Android phone sold here is gigantic. But it’s also a really good device, with a battery that gets through a full day more comfortably than its predecessor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset responsible for some of that battery performance improvement is slightly different — and slightly faster — than the 8 Gen 2 in other Android flagships."
