For a similar price, the Google Pixel 6 offers great still photo quality and pure Android experience, while the OnePlus 9 Pro boasts a slightly better screen and higher refresh rate which could make for smoother visuals. If battery life is crucial, both phones offer roughly the same longevity. The OnePlus 9 Pro has a slightly bigger screen and a more precise camera, so if a larger display and a slightly higher camera resolution are important to you, that could be the way to go. However, the Pixel 6 can record both 8K and 4K video while the OnePlus 9 Pro can't record in 8K, so if high-resolution video capture is a priority, the Pixel might be better suited to your needs. Additionally, if you're looking for wireless charging, both phones offer this feature, but the OnePlus 9 Pro supports faster wireless charging speeds. Give Feedback

Android Police

Taylor Kerns | April 2022
"It punches above its weight in nearly every way: performance is great, build quality is very good, and the cameras positively rip. this is a big phone, which is a bit of a shock after the compact Pixel 4 and Pixel 5. But it’s a very good big phone at a very good price."

TechRadar

James Peckham | April 2021
"The OnePlus 9 Pro offers phenomenal performance, a vastly superior camera to the brand’s previous smartphones, and a variety of top-end features that make this a serious contender for anyone who’s in the market for a premium Android handset. The 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD display is among the best we’ve seen on a smartphone, with plenty of detail, strong brightness, and a variety of other tweaks. If you like to watch a lot of video on your phone in particular, this is a great option."

About Google

Google can be considered a relatively new player in the smartphone industry, joining as late as 2016 with their phone, the Google Pixel. Since then, the Pixel lineup has undergone many changes, but it has always been characterized by a focus on photography and clean software, by providing a pure Android experience. By virtue of Google being the creator of the Android operating system, Pixels are known for receiving timely software updates and for being supported with updates for a long time. Additionally, over the past few generations of devices, Google started designing their own processors. This allowed for the implementation of unique software features that are not present in any other phone, such as automatic call screening and unique voice transcribing capabilities.

About OnePlus

OnePlus, established in 2013, is a smartphone brand that first became known for providing flagship-like devices, at a fraction of the cost compared to more expensive Android competitors. OnePlus focuses on creating smartphones with powerful hardware at reasonable prices. They also bring hardware features normally not seen in other Android phones sold in the US, such as their ultra-fast “Warp Charge” and the beloved “Alert Slider”.
