If you're looking for a TV that's better for watching cartoons and animation, the Hisense A65K may be a better choice as it performs well in that area. However, it's also more expensive than the Insignia F30 2024. The Hisense A65K struggles with gaming and may not be ideal if you're a gamer. For bright room usage, both TVs have fair performance, but neither is particularly strong in this environment. If budget is a major concern, the Insignia F30 2024 could save you money, but be aware that its overall picture quality is rated poorer than the Hisense. Neither TV excels in sound quality, but the Insignia offers slightly more speaker power if that's a consideration for you. Both TVs support Dolby Vision and HLG HDR formats, which is beneficial for viewing high dynamic range content, but if you require HDR10+ support, only the Hisense has it. Give Feedback

Stratos Kampourogiannis | September 2023
"The A65K proved to be a rather capable TV that works great within its extreme limitations that its price dictates. It has great contrast, very low input lag and good color coverage. Add Google TV and a low price in the mix and you have an excellent low budget offering."

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About Insignia

Insignia is an in-house brand from BestBuy. It offers a range of TV sets that are lower-end and smaller size. They are manufactured in China by Hisense, which is another TV brand. Insignia TVs use Amazon's Fire OS as the smart TV software, providing users with a highly user-friendly experience.
