If you are on a budget, the Vizio D-Series '22 offers a similar screen size for less money and better performance for cartoons and animations which can be appealing for family viewing. However, if you need broader viewing angles for group watching in a well-lit room, the Samsung N5300 would be a better choice despite the higher cost. The Vizio has slightly better fair quality for sports and general TV watching, but neither TV excels in bright room conditions. Gamers might find both TVs limiting due to their poor gaming performance. For using as a monitor, they both have low performance, but provide support for common HDR formats if that's important for your media consumption.
