If you're on a budget and want to save money, the TCL S450R is a more affordable option. However, the Vizio M-Series offers better overall picture quality and performance for movies and series, as well as better color reproduction. The Vizio also supports more HDR formats, which is beneficial if you watch a lot of HDR content. Both are fair for sports and have limited gaming performance, so neither is ideal if gaming is your primary use. In brighter rooms, both models are just fair, but the TCL S450R has excellent black uniformity, which may appeal to you if you often watch TV in dark rooms. Keep in mind that both sets have a limited number of HDMI ports and neither is particularly strong in sound quality, so you might want to consider external speakers or a sound system. Give Feedback
