The Acer Swift X offers more performance power with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card, making it suitable for 3D rendering, machine learning, and moderate gaming. However, it has less portability and a shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro. The IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a higher-resolution touchscreen display with a higher refresh rate, which is great for sharp visuals and fluid on-screen movement, making it better for general use and multimedia tasks. It comes with more RAM, improving overall multitasking capabilities, and features like Thunderbolt ports and a backlit keyboard, but might not handle intensive creative tasks or gaming as well due to its integrated graphics. Both have similar storage capacities and build quality but consider the Acer Swift X if you need more graphical power and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro for daily productivity with a superior display. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the Acer Swift X for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the Acer Swift X has a display that delivers clarity and brightness suitable for everyday tasks, but the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro surpasses it with an even sharper and brighter screen, making it more enjoyable for browsing and video viewing. When it comes to engineering and design, both laptops have screens that showcase a range of colors well, but the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro likely has better color accuracy, enhancing the precision needed for professional creative work. However, for gaming and 3D applications where motion smoothness is key, neither laptop's screen is ideal, as they lack the high refresh rates that provide fluid visuals in fast-paced scenes.

How the Acer Swift X (2021) and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
