The Gigabyte G5 offers a powerful Intel processor and an Nvidia RTX graphics card, making it suitable for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering applications. However, it has shorter battery life and heavier than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", which could be a key factor if portability is a priority. The IdeaPad 1 has a touchscreen and more RAM, which can be advantageous for general use and multitasking, and it excels in battery longevity for everyday tasks. Both have ample storage and full HD displays, so choose the Gigabyte G5 for performance-heavy tasks or the IdeaPad 1 for better battery life and touch capability. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte G5 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a better screen for content creation.
For general use, both the Gigabyte G5 and Lenovo IdeaPad 1 have displays that provide adequate resolution and brightness, but they may not have the most vivid colors or highest clarity due to their panel type. When it comes to engineering and design, while their resolutions are acceptable, they lack the wide color gamut coverage needed for the most accurate color work. As for gaming and 3D applications, these laptops fall short with their lower refresh rates, which can lead to less smooth visuals during fast-paced activities despite having decent resolution and panel types.

How the Gigabyte G5 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
