If you're looking for a high-quality camera and are willing to pay a premium, the iPhone 14 Pro Max offers excellent photo and video quality. However, if budget is a concern and you still want a respectable camera, the Motorola Moto G100 is more affordable and provides decent camera performance. The iPhone shines in display brightness, offering superior peak and high brightness modes which could be important if you use your phone outdoors frequently. In terms of operating systems, the iPhone 14 Pro Max runs on iOS, while the Moto G100 uses Android, which might influence your decision based on your preference for a particular ecosystem. If battery life is paramount, both phones offer good performance, but the Moto G100 has a slightly lower battery life compared to the iPhone. Lastly, the Motorola Moto G100 has a plastic back, making it potentially less resilient than the glass-backed iPhone 14 Pro Max. Give Feedback

Britta O'Boyle | March 2023
"The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is not just big in form, it's big in character. There's a refreshed design that's really striking, especially in this larger format, coupled with performance enhancements, battery improvements, camera improvements, the Always-On Display and the Dynamic Island feature. It will be too big for some, but if you're looking for the best iPhone Apple has made to date in the biggest possible format, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is definitely the one - it is excellent."

Mike Lowe | March 2021
"A budget gaming-capable phone that foregoes the AMOLED screen hype and camera cost implications to deliver a half-price near-flagship that, in use, adds up to oh so much more. Even plugging away at games for hours at a time doesn't cause too much trouble where battery is concerned. The 5,000mAh cell is a big part of the reason for the G100's above average weight, but it's a great capacity to have at your fingertips."

About Apple

The tech giant called Apple is synonymous with the most popular smartphone in the world: the iPhone. Known for their build quality and aesthetics, as well as for their excellent integration between hardware and software, iPhones have defined the smartphone industry ever since their conception and they continue to do so by setting new industry standards. Apple's own operating system, called iOS, is known for its simplicity and ease of use, and the company tends to complement it well by creating devices with some of the most powerful processing hardware available in the mobile world. The iPhone is also known for its robust ecosystem of accessories, as it facilitates a very seamless experience when interacting with other Apple products, more so than most of its competitors.

About Motorola

Motorola, a well-known name in the smartphone world, has a long-standing legacy in the industry, with a history dating back to the early days of mobile phones. The brand is mostly known for striking a balance between affordability and functionality, as well as providing a clean and straightforward interface with their software skin on top of Android. While they have traditionally been prominent in the budget and midrange categories, Motorola has also occasionally ventured into the high-end category for smartphones.
