When considering the Amazon Omni Series and the LG B2 OLED, you are looking at two different price ranges and performance levels. The Amazon Omni Series is more affordable and suitable for casual viewing, but it struggles in dark room performance and doesn't have local dimming for deep blacks. The LG B2, an OLED TV, is at a higher price point but offers superior overall picture quality, making it excellent for movies and gaming. It has a better response time and input lag score, making it more responsive for gaming. Also, its viewing angles and reflection handling are superior, which is beneficial in well-lit environments. However, the screen is at risk of permanent burn-in with static images over time; this is not an issue with the Amazon Omni Series LCD. The LG B2's sound quality is also better, but neither TV is noted for exceptional in-built speakers. In a bright room, the LG B2 performs better than the Omni Series, but not by a large margin. Choose the LG B2 for premium viewing experiences, especially movies and gaming, while the Amazon Omni Series will serve well for standard, everyday use at a lower cost. Both TVs support Dolby Vision and HDR10. Give Feedback

Techradar

Nick Pino | July 2022
"If you want a competent budget screen with some handy features, the Amazon Omni TV delivers an experience that punches well above its price tag. You’ll also get the benefit of Fire TV’s new UI right out of the box. It’s clean and simple to understand, plus it puts content first. In the picture-quality department, the Amazon Omni is a surprising star among some of its dimmer, less colorful rivals."

Tom's guide

Nick Pino | March 2023
"The LG B2 OLED pairs lush, saturated colors and perfect contrast with a 120Hz screen, HDMI 2.1 ports and a great smart TV platform. The LG B2 OLED is an ideal alternative to the LG C2 OLED for folks who want a taste of OLED life without the sticker price that usually comes with it. The LG B2 OLED does a lot right in terms of performance, color saturation is wonderful and contrast is second-to-none. Not only did color saturation and off-axis viewing impress me, harder to quantify specs like motion processing and upscaling really blew me away as well."
