If your priority is better performance in a sunny room, then the TCL Q6 might be more suitable as it offers good brightness capabilities. However, for darker rooms, the Hisense R6G would suffice, as its bright room performance isn’t a strong suit. The TCL Q6 also stands out with a better color volume and response time, which is beneficial for more vibrant viewing and gaming. Both TVs struggle with gaming scores, so dedicated players might look elsewhere. Input lag is on par for casual gaming. If sound is a consideration, neither TV has particularly powerful speakers, and both support similar HDR formats, although only the TCL supports HGiG for gaming HDR.
